On June 17, 2003, the doors of The CAPPED Building opened to the public for the first time.  This happened because a group of wonderful CAPPED Volunteers and CAPPED Supporters cared enough about the people of Otero County to look within and give of their time, talents and financial resources.  Due to the efforts of these wonderful individuals, organizations and businesses, our vision has become a reality!!! Thank You just doesn't seem to be enough! So to try to give you just an inkling of all the hard work that went into making CAPPED possible, and give some credit to our unsung heroes, we present "The History Of CAPPED", a photo-journal of our creation.
